With rapid growth and an increasing demand for new products, the company moves into a larger, and current, location on Clark Street.
The name becomes Decker Manufacturing as a strategic shift and long-term vision for expansion and innovation in the company’s business plan.
The production facility expands to 130,000 square feet in an ongoing effort to incorporate advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment.
Decker Manufacturing receives the lauded American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) for its commitment to quality and excellence.
Decker Manufacturing achieves the Fastener Quality Act (FAQ) certification in adherence to public safety standards.
The company attains ISO 9002:1994, QS-9000:1995 certification which emphasizes the rigorous quality management systems that Decker Manufacturing has implemented throughout its operations.
The establishment of subsidiary, Decker Fasteners Limited, in Hudson, OH, was a strategic move aimed at expanding market presence and optimizing distribution channels.
Decker Fasteners moves into a 40,000 square foot facility in Peninsula, OH while simultaneously achieving the QS-9000 certification.
Decker Fasteners received the ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification for the design and development of production, of automotive-related products.
In a continued commitment towards sustainability, Decker Manufacturing receives the ISO 14001:2004 certification, in addition to the ISO/TS 16949:2002, and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Laboratory Accreditation.
Decker was awarded the National Environmental Performance Track certification through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for their commitment to challenging environmental goals and a dedication to continuous improvement.
Decker receives the coveted General Motors Supplier of the Year award for exceeding GM’s requirements and providing their customers with the highest quality products in the automotive industry for four straight years.
Decker Fasteners builds a 28,000 square foot addition to its current facility to house advanced production, modernized storage systems, and expanded R&D capabilities.
Decker undertakes the significant initiative of implementing a new Material Requirements Planning System (MRP) to streamline operations, improve inventory accuracy, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Decker installs four, state-of-the-art optical sorting machines for enhanced sorting capabilities.
